These are a few links I've found for the election process. The primaries are coming up in our state soon, so I compiled a few links. I originally sent these out in an email (and being "frugal with my energy" ), so I'm copying and pasting.
Ben's Guide to US Government for Kids (All different grade levels...3rd & up have information on elections, but the K-2 page has basic government info)
Congress for Kids (Election Process...also links to an online quiz to test what your kids learned)
Social Studies For Kids (Introduces kids to the top candidates for each party, primary & caucus, Electoral college, and an overview of the election process)
If you prefer something "done" for you, Live & Learn Press sells an Election Lapbook (It says 2004, but it may be "generic" I haven't seen it).
There is also a free set of lapbook mini-books at Homeschool Share on the election process. Make sure to click on the link to The Ballot Box Battle book for s few more election/government related mini-books. :-)
