An On-line Gratitude Journal
|
I would love for you to be part of our little gratitude journal here in the blogging world.
Each day, I am trying to list three things for which I am grateful. I am really learning that gratitude lifts you out of the turmoil of this worldly-world.
So, please comment to any blog entry and list your three things for which YOU are grateful. And stop back often to drop off your gratitude list. |

This is a sepcial edition gratitude list. We're away for a few days for a mid-winter break. So, tonight, I'm grateful for... 1. Not having to cook, do dishes, do laundry, or make a bed for almost 4 days. 2. Trusting friends who will care for our pets 3. Time to read and write and organize my thoughts without everyday distractions for just a few days.

today I'm grateful because... 1. Yesterday was the final performance of the cross-stitch performing arts center Christmas program. It went well. We had the cast party. It was a great experience. 2. I was up 2 hours before the boys this morning and the house is warm and cozy and straightened up! I even had time for lots of devotions and journalling. what a great way to start the day! 3. Even though money may be tight, there is food in the freezer and wood on the wood pile. We are well-provided for by a gracious God. |

Today I'm grateful for:
1. That feeling you get when a big project is completed. I spent a few hours cleaning and decluttering our bedroom today and It feels so good!
2. A few quiet moments alone in the house to get caught up on some work.
3. Planned meals. I try to keep our menu planned. But every Saturday we have soup and bread. That makes the thinking/planning so much easier! Friday night's pizza. |

Today I am grateful because... 1. Several months ago I started praying for the man who bought a farmhouse near us. I prayed the God would somehow reveal Himself to this man. This weekend I found out that the man hired two new caretakers for his property who are Christians and homeschoolers. God rocks! 2. On Monday, after a long summer of doctoring, my husband's doctor said, "I'm calling you healed!" His achilles tendon is healed and he is able to live without restrictions. 3. My dad gave me a beautiful fern and I've brought it in for the winter. It's hanging in my kitchen and looking gorgeous! |
