1.  The patient and kind workers at the emergency room.

2.  God's provision at having our dear friends at the same game in which my husband hurt himself.

3.  Safe travel, even late at night.

Today I'm grateful for...

1.  Overcast days...an excuse NOT to go outside or to the pool!

2.  Trips to the library.  I just love new books!

3.  Recycling yarn.

Today I'm grateful for...

1.  Fresh pineapple.

2.  Reading a new book with the boys.

3.  The construction project that captures the adventurous nature of our two boys.

Today I'm grateful for...

1.  The coast down the hill toward home.  There's no feeling like returning to my little family.

2.  The look of the sun coming through the lush green leaves outside our front window.  It's true beauty.

3.  Finding a new yarn shop and a lovely town.

Today I'm grateful for...

1.  The sweet smell when a breeze blows over wilflowers.

2.  A housefull of playing children.

3.  The quiet evening after all the playing children have gone home.

Today I'm grateful because...

1.  After being weeks and weeks behind, I have clipped and filed every coupon!

2.  I had a few quiet hours at home alone this afternoon.

3.  As my husband put it, worship today was like "being thirsty and having a long-cold drink of water."

Today I'm grateful because...

1.  Our van has worked well for our trip to N. MN and home to PA thus far.

2.  Our trip to visit family blessed us immensely.

3.  God answers my prayers when I can't even find the words to pray them.

Today I'm grateful for...

1.  Two days to vacation!

2.  Our boys find me for a hug first thing in the morning and then they hug each other.

3.  It's a beautiful sun-shiny day!

1.  My boys' interest in training our dog to sit.

2.  Big Mac's ability to sleep-in and catch up on some rest.

3.  Our local library.

1.  A "new to me" laptop.

2.  My BFF who insists I take her GPS "just in case"

3.  My T-bone who was grateful today for 130 gratitude things in his newest gratitude journal.

1.  Personal Computers.

2.  The internet.

3.  The clicking sound a keyboard makes.

Today's my birthday!

1.  breakfast in bed made by the two "handsome-est" boys in Pennsylvania!

2.  lunch out with my mom and sister.

3.  supper out with my boys and favorite husband...plus a bonus trip to my favorite thrift store!

Today I'm grateful for...

1.  A sunny morning...it's been DAYS since we've seen the sun.

2.  Safe travel while doing errands in the rain yesterday.

3.  My mom and sister are coming for lunch tomorrow!

Today I'm grateful for...

1.  The health of our boys.  They have bad colds, but there are parents who deal with much worse.

2.  Rainy days.  A Sunday afternoon watching movies and snuggling with the people I love most in the world!  I can't wait.

3.  Long morning chats with my bestest friend.  What a great way to start my day!

Today's gratitude veres off from the norm.  Today I'm grateful for my BFF.  Here's one of the reasons why.  She emailed me the following this morning.

Today is going to be a good day ~ I don't care what happens, the Lord and I are claiming this as a good day.   Period.    Work irritations?  Don't care ~ gonna be a good day.   Traffic problem?   Don't care ~ gonna be a good day.   I gained a pound?   Don't care ~ gonna be a good day.    Bad meal tonight?   Don't care ~ gonna be a good day.   I've got so much to be thankful for ~ I should never have a bad day!

1.  My crock pot! 

2.  Long talks with my mom and sister.

1.  Watkins vanilla, my very favorite for baking.

2.  A field full of dandelions...yellow, my favorite color.

3.  Book club.  I'm looking forward to an evening with the girls, but I'm also grateful because book club makes me read things I wouldn't usually select and I loved this month's book!  (Agatha Christie)
