I remember when my daughter was born I thought, "Oh my goodness!  I am going to have to be careful about what I say and do, because she is going to be watching every move I make, and emulating every thing I do and say.  I can tell where my strengths are...she adores her daddy and her two little brothers!  Lately I have been noticing that she is being more lazy in her chores.  It used to be that she was so cheerful to set the table, unload the dishwasher, straighten up her room, etc. but now she dwaddles, wanders, or disappears.  Am I looking into a mirror?  Hmmm....

I'm so glad you stopped by and visited me at my other blog! I tell you though, I just haven't enjoyed blogging over there the way I do here, so I reopened my blog here. Anyway, I really appreciate this post as I have been very, very lax around my home lately and it is exactly like "mirror, mirror" as I see my children constantly "messing" and not wanting to clean up. It is hard to face the fact that I have to get myself in order before I can get them into order, but it is so, so true. Thanks for sharing the thought with everyone!

I'm glad you have lots of young men to add to the pool, as I have young ladies that will need godly husbands....!

I sometimes think that it would be nice to have another boy, but I'm pushing forty, and my dh is thinking that we should be done with our four... Ah well. Maybe adoption?!
