Dec. 20, 2005 - Priorities

Priorities

Because my life is so complex and demanding, I must have a plan if I am to live by God's priorities and obey His call on my life.

If I order my life by God's priorities, decisions are easier.  I can see more clearly when the storms of life start to rage and the tyranny of the urgent beats at my door, if my guidance comes from God's unchangeable Word.  Choices become easier when I am confident where I stand.

These are the really important things:

 * Loving God and following after Him with my whole heart

 * Loving, helping and serving my husband

 * Loving, teaching and discipling my children

 * Caring for my home in order to provide a quality life for my family

 * Continually developing and growing so that I have something to give to others.

 * Loving and serving God's people (includes loving and serving extended family, friends, neighbors and the lost.)

 * Serving in my career or ministry

Hi Julie!

Thanks for visiting my blog. Nice to "meet" you!

And THANK YOU for posting such wise words. I needed to hear them this week. God's ways are so simple, aren't they. If we focus on His kingdom and His ways, all other matters will fall into place. It's so comforting.

Blessings to you and your family!

Dec. 31, 2005 - Stopped by for a visit

I came by to meet you and I'm amazed!

First, I find it interesting that so many women are feeling a need to re-prioritize their lives, according to God's will

Next, I read about your family's ministry. The church planting and training leaders. That sounds wonderful. I have like passions for women's ministries.

I'd love to hear the story of how you and your husband were lead to Thailand. Please if you get a minute email me at excelcontractors@sbcglobal.net tell me your story.

I know that's asking a lot, so only do this if you can.
