Hey, friends, I know that it has been an EVERLASTINGLY long time since I posted anyrhing, but I am making some pretty close friends here on Homeschoolblogger and I have been SOOOOOO busy. Seriously. Don't worry, though, I'll try to post some Rose Colored Stained Glass Windows today, and perhaps some Mummified; also, there is something that you guys might like to read that I posted on the Punishers. It has some fantasy in it, but mostly, it is real-life me. Just in a different universe. Here is the link:

Wow, thanks to all of you guys for helping me decide whether or not the song was Christlike. I really liked it since it was from the Spiderman movie, but I try really hard to listen to only things that Jesus would listen to, and be proud of. It isn't often that I come across a song that I have to let go of, and again, thanks to all of you for helping me make my decision!

And *ping* It is off now.

Being a Christian girl, I try to make sure that the music I listen to isn't non-Christ in any way.

But I've been thinking about the lyrics of  "Hero" by Chad Kroeger, and I was thinking, when it says "someone told me, love could all save us; but how can that be, look what love gave us: a world full of killing, and blood-spilling, that won't ever change," is that kind of yelling at God? What do yo uthink? Because if you guys think that it's not Christlike, then I will take it off.

It is the second song on my playlist.

There ya are, Pip! Your stories are much different than any others I've ever read. Plus, you live in a castle with lots of cats and you can talk to your characters...now THAT's goin' against the flow!

And, now that I think about it, SeaChel has created a superhero that is a Christian. Not many are!

"AAAAAH! EVERYBODY RUN!!!! LAVENDER'S WRITING POETRY!!!!!"

A boy, perhaps nine, with black hair, bright red skin, and a tail runs past you screaming. "NOOOOO!!!! NOOOOO!!!! THE PAIN!!!!!! I'M BEING BORED TO DEATH!!!!"

Another boy, composed, more or less, than his erratic twin brother(and not so fearsome-looking; he's got normal white skin and shaggy black hair that hangs in his eyes), walks out of a room and says sarcastically:

"Really, it's not all THAT bad. It's just that Agent Westmarch isn't as good at poetry than she is at stories."

A slender teenage girl, with blonde hair and a light purple turtleneck sweater marches up to him, pencil and paper in hand, looking quite hot. "Says you! Now GET OUT OF MY OFFICE!!!!"

Turning to a younger girl of about thirteen, she says, "Aren't you supposed to be WATCHING them???"

She shrugs in reply, chomping on a Baby Ruth candy bar. "Maybe." With a mischevious grin, she disappears through the automatic doors.

Lavender looks at you with a frustrated look on her face. "Meet Johnny and Martin, the Sons of Thunder, as I call them(they're JUST like thier dad!!!!) and I'm pretty sure you've met Ruthie before. Anyway, here's a poem I've written before. I can write poetry, really! Sometimes......" she laughs nervously.

Out of darkness.....LIGHT

We are of earth, condemned to die
Voices screaming down inside
"Are you evil, are you good
Not escaping when you could."

"Is there a way then?" loud we cry
Shouting to the blackened sky.
"How can we escape this death?
Climb from fire of dragon's breath?"

Into darkness seeps a light;
Darkness fleeting from the night.
"Only believe," says a holy voice.
"Lift up your hands and now rejoice!"

Do you believe in Emmanuel?
He can heal and make you well;
Erase the sin and wash it away,
Then you shall live a brighter day.
