Thirteen Things About Dana Thirteen things I never thought I would do. 1. Hold a child while she vomited in my lap.
2. Have more than one child.
3. Use cloth diapers.
4. Home school.
5. Sew. Anything. Ever. After working in my mother's sweat shop, the height of life was going to be NOT SEWING ANYTHING. 6. Be a stay at home mom.
7. Can, bake or cook anything that was more complicated than macaroni and cheese. But its hard to teach a kid to do something until you know how yourself.
8. Eat after another person. Especially when snot is draining down their little nose. But what's a mom to do when a two year old thrusts his doughnut in her face, inviting to share?
9. Own a glass coffee table. Still not sure how my husband talked me into that one.
10. Garden. But the best way to teach a child about botany is to start gardening.
12. Hold a sick child so long my arms fall asleep and worry more about waking him than saving my arms.
13. Love another person this much.
