That's great! Another thing I wanted to suggest to you were the Leap Frog videos....Sounds like he'd benefit from "The Code Word Caper". Noah loved them!

Have a great weekend!

Children and reading

Posted by skipperswife

My younger daughter was a slow start reader. I, too, often wondered if she would ever "get it". Kindergarten rolled around and I was still beating my head on the wall trying to get her to say things like "A makes the ah sound". I thought she may never read. Our oldest daughter read at 3, so this seemed really delayed to me.
The morning of Mollie's 6th birthday, she got up and said, "I'm going to read a book." I was thinking, "Yeah, right, you don't even know the A sound!" But she did read that book. From start to finish! It just had to be on her time table...not mine. (She's been that way since birth!)
So, chin up...your child will read! :o)
