Trying to find other homeschoolers
I guess I'm just looking in the wrong area, maybe typing in the wrong keywords or phrases that will help me find homeschoolers in this part of the state. I'm in Sevierville ,TN but haven't found anything except one site (which I emailed but never got a response back) that talks, gets together or anything. My son is 32 months old so I'm not registered or anything to homeschool, but I am teaching him preschool. I just want some play dates or anything at all that he get in involved in. He's my only child, would love to have more but doesn't look promising on medical reasons ( starting to think that is to much info). Anyhoo, I just want to get together for a playdate. Or just chat about preschool learning.

I noticed when the mom's at the park start talking " I just can't wait to send my little one off to school." and then they turn to me as though they are wanting me to agree and I state "I'm homeschooling my little one" they suddenly pull away and act distant. My mom and my friends are in complete agreement with me deciding to homeschool, so I have complete support with them. The only thing is they live 4 hours away, so I've got no one here in Sevierville to discuss all of this homeschooling stuff with (unless you count my husband, but since he he won't give me much imput I wouldn't). Oh don't get me wrong he is 100 % supportive in this, he's just not very helpful on the info and such. Anyways......... I just noticed that some people just decide to shun you when you state that you're a proud homeschooling momma. Oh lol if any of you other homeschooling momma's just happen to like playing video games and you just happen to play Guild Wars (online rpg), then one of my characters names is Homeschooling Momma, so feel free to give me an IM

I'm interested in all the homeschooling moms here in Sevierville, TN. I would like to get together with a homeschooling family in this area. Give me some pointers in how things work around here in this area. Feel free to email me.
