The Snake Photos

Here they are.  New readers can refer back to the Snake Report for the exciting tale of how we became, for a very short time, snake custodians.  Our snake friend has not made any more visits, and the Sterilite container is back to its former employment as action-figure storage.

Refer to www.snakesandfrogs.com for more information on, and better photos of, Black Rat Snakes.

Free at last.  Nothing like a photo shoot to make a snake happy to go back to the woods and stay in the woods.

Not sure a snake is something I would take in....we have taken in turtles, lizards, frogs....but we left the snake we found in our sandbox alone!

I got here via the random blogger button and I am tagging you for the "7 random things" if you want to play the rules are on my blog

Well, we didn't take in the snake, it took in itself. We had the job of getting it out of the bathroom and re-located to a more snake-compatible ecosystem.

I'll take a look at your blog -- thanks for stopping by!

Why "Greencastle"?

We have a green castle in our back yard. We named our school after the castle. (We were required to name it something. I don't know why. It was on the form.) Now I've named my blog after our school. Because it's supposed to be a blog about our homeschool. But I blog about other things, too.
