Feb. 5, 2009 - Jumping Rope
We really enjoy participating in a jump rope class with a bunch of other homeschoolers. When I say "we" I include myself since I am also jumping with the class. I need the push towards better fitness and to also be an example to my kids.
Regular exercise not only helps improve health but is also shown to be linked to better academic performance and attitude. What family couldn't use a boost in attitudes with their students?
Jumping rope is an efficient way to exercise since every minute of jumping rope is equal to jogging for 3 minutes. It is also inexpensive.
