Chicken Soup for the Mortal Soul

• May. 23, 2008 - Drawing Class

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to let you know that Heather from An Untraditional Home (http://elsah.com) is hosting an art class for anyone six (or was it eight) and up who is interested.

It is free for anyone who's older than eight who wants to join. Me, Jake, Emily, and Julia are all doing it.

It would be great if you guys could check it out. The theme of the classes is how to draw people, which is something that I'm not very good at.

Here's the picture I drew:

NickSorry if the picture is a little fuzzy...

LOL! Yeah I've read it, and I did stop a couple of times because it was confusing.....but it was a great book.

Two Towers.
I have a question (Two, actually):
1. Why is the person you drew bald?
2. Why do you change your name every so often from Joel to
J------?

(If I'm being intrusive, please tell me.)

(On the subject of LOTR) You first.

Hmmmmm...
I really can't think of anything else to say.
Oh, My (Older) sister wanted to know if you had read
The Chronicles of Narnia.
Don't ask me why.

Very nice drawing Nick. :) And yes, you may add me to your friends.

Again thank you for your mature and kind comment on my LOTR post. I honestly didn't expect everyone to agree with me, and I can see, being once in their position, how they justify and defend it. I hope the Lord used me in some good way through that post.

Blessings

I am having to catch up on everyone's posts! I've missed a lot! Thank you for praying for the trip- it went really well, and I got some great pictures that I will soon be posting!

I enjoyed your post about the piano piece and mis-hap! How many times has that happened to me? I can't count! I adore the piano, (adore is not a word I use very often) but I fear I am too much of a perfectionist!

Art classes? Fun! You know, BreezyTulip of TheDrawingBlog is giving free lessons as well. You might enjoy that too!

God Bless,
~Grace

David won! Ahhhh! Yay!
Sorry, just had to do that. I think that David Archuleta was too young.......not that he sounded bad, but David Cook had just had more life experience. Everytime David Archuleta finished singing, it looked like he was going to pass out.
I know! Carrie's skirt was all together TOO short. And the song she sang................
I got all emotional when I saw Micheal Johns again. Sorry! I liked him.
