that I check your blog almost daily. I didn't know Lorrie but know I would have liked her. I pray for your family as you learn to live with only her memory.
IN Jesus Blessed name....I can't wait to meet her in heaven.

Saturday, December 2, 2006 - Holding you up in prayer

I just came across Lorrie's blog and read through my tears the last few entries. Words cannot adequately express how sorry I am for the family that is left behind.
Her entries showed the deep love and concern she had for her family, and I can only pray that the warmth of her love and the knowledge that she is now in the presence of our Savior, pain-free, nausea-free, and whole in body and spirit can ease the pain of losing this wife, mother, sister, daughter, granddaughter, aunt, and friend.
God tells us that his ways are not our ways and that he has a plan for each and every life. We may never know why one is taken home to be with the Lord early in life and another is allowed to live a long time, but know that even in death, Lorrie continues to touch hearts through her writings.
Father, I lift up Lorrie's family to you today. Comfort her children, husband, parents, sister, and those who were close to her. As the dark days come, shine the light of Your love and place Your loving arms around each one. As the questions of why invade their minds, remind them that You are in control and Your love is enough to sustain them. As they shed the tears of mourning, wipe them away with Your joy, and remind them of the days that were spent with Lorrie, laughing and enjoying life. Help them, Father, to celebrate Lorrie's life by living a life that exalts You. Praise You, Father, for the gift of Lorrie and the legacy that is left behind through her writings and the life she led. In the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ, Amen
