Bible Search Bar
I am so excited! I just figured out how to add the Bible Search Bar to my sidebar! I am not very good at adding code to the blog yet, so I feel like I really did something new. This is the second piece of code that I added without help!
I know that doesn't sound really big, but usually I have help whenever I need to figure out something technical. This is something new to me. I have a very technical family, so it is usually really easy to say, "Will you help me?" But I really wanted to do this one on my own, so I struggled for about a half hour and I really did it!
On a different note, this has been a really exciting day for me.
1) I received the book "Thanksgiving" by Glenn Cheney to review. I read a few excerpts and am really looking forward to devouring the book and reviewing it on www.goodreads.com. If you haven't gone to that site yet, it is really good to find out what others think about books you are reading or looking at reading. It is a book reading community made up of book readers and authors. Anyone who loves books should check it out. I will post the review here as well as there so anyone following this blog can see the review as well. From what I read in the excerpts, the review will probably be very positive.
2) My new video recorder pen came in the mail. I already gave it away to my husband with the promise that I can order myself a new one next payday. This one looks really good. It is actually a pen that writes, but has video recording equipment at the same time!
3) I received an eos sphere lip balm in the mail. This was a sample. It is really a nice size, totally spherical in shape and makes my lips tingle. The flavor is a delicious spearmint. Now I want to go out and buy a couple of more flavors...next pay day... :)
It is now time for me to check in on my Spanish homework, so I will call it a day....
I will be posting on this blog more often now. I forgot I had it, but I am in more of a posting mood lately.
