Another Wonderful Day
It is so hard to make this blog about me when there is so much to say about our Creator and His Creation! Everywhere I look I see so much evidence that He has created everything around me.
I look at the kittens and how joyfully they view each and everyday. I see their mother doting over them as if her entire life depended on them, even though a few short months ago she didn't even dream of having kittens. Clark went to his new home last night. After he left, she sat at the door for over an hour as if she were waiting for him to come back home. She is a good mommy. I saw how the Creator protects the kittens by building in that strong maternal instinct into the mother cat. She is still, even this morning, working out not having another one of her babies. There are still three left, but I know two more are leaving, and one more temporarily. I hope she takes it all okay. I know the Creator has built in that as well, but it is hard to see at this stage.
I am so glad the Creator places everything at the correct timing. As long as Pixie still has kittens here at home with her, she has that strong maternal instinct, even though she is really a kitten herself. We don't know how old she really is, but you can tell she is around a year old herself. I also know that once they are old enough, she'll lose a lot of that instinct, but she will always have one with her. We are keeping one of the babies.
It is funny how we have a manx mother and are choosing to keep the one with a full tail to stay with us. I would have thought we would keep one of the ones with no tail or almost no tail, but it didn't work that way.
