Tests and happy kids

I spent a while fiddling with the new camera and it still won't work right for me, so I have to ask Hub about it. Until then, we must suffer on without pictures.
Today J and K read through all of their LLATL words that they've learned so far. J and K each picked out 10 words for the other to act out, which was quite funny. They each took assessment 1 for LLATL, and both did well. So yay, we are moving on.
J did one page of MUS. In his defense, he had to write the numbers 0-100 so it took him quite a while, poor thing. I know he knows them, but he does need some practice. But we will not be doing every page of that lesson; his hand will fall off. K did 2 pages of MUS. Her lesson was on tally marks. She finally had a eureka moment and now really understands counting by 5s. Thank goodness!!! There was no crying from anyone during school today, not even mommy! Ha!
S did one lesson in Singapore Math, on the numbers 1-5.
All we have left today is a little science (dinosaurs) and AWANA verses.
Right now the kids are watching Word Girl and all is right with the world.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and voicing your thoughts and support! I so agree with you that it's only hair and I, like your mom, have henna'd my daughter's hair neon Pink and other colors, per her request.
My extended family think I'm very strange to give my children voices and choices so I've been fighting against these nay sayers for awhile. =) The good news is my kids are AWESOME! lol.

What type of problem are you having with your pictures? I use photobucket to get an html code to stick in my blog. It's a simple process. Some use Flickr and some are skilled enough to have a program on their system so as to do direct loads.

I am jump starting my homeschooling again, the school experience went well but for one..so we are homeschooling him again. I am also using the llatl (is that right?). I love it..I am hoping to get moving and hit the ground running.

Thanks for the heads up on MUS and Singapore. I am still up in the air on it......need to narrow it down soon.
I had to LOL at the Super Size Me comment -- that was so gross!! I said I would not eat there after watching it, and yet, I still am!! LOL -- we do not eat fast food all that often, and certainly not there all the time....but we do from time to time. But GROSS at the fries not getting moldy! SICK!!!
