This cool little map is helping me to know when to get my hummingbird feeder out and ready.
They're on the way! (Click on the link above to see the map more clearly.)
Thanks for putting that on your blog. Other family members always have hummingbird feeders but I never have. I think this year I will. What a neat way to get prepared for them.
Happy Spring!!!
I went to the site but the canadian one doesn't have any dates on it showing where they are :( I'll have to use yours to *grin* and when the get up to the north western corner I'll know it's my time to hang the feeder. LOL. We've got more of the seasonal birds showing up each day here right now, the frogs are croaking again and lots of bees. Can't wait to see the hummers :)
Blessings,
Rosina
I actually saw my second one this evening in our feeder. It was the most tiny little guy I have ever seen. He actually perched on the feeder and let me get a very good look at him. He is not the same kind we usually have in the middle of summer but he was enjoying the feeder and I was enjoying watching him. :)
Welcome to my happy little place to learn about the study of nature and all things beautiful. This is my personal nature journal, where I hope to record my fledgling journey as a naturalist and my appreciation for the Master Gardener's creation. I will also display some of my favorite paintings and list some of my favorite living books and quotes. I hope you will enjoy your visit.
