Here are some of the pressings we made last week. Darling Husband is going to take them to work and laminate them for us to see how that turns out. I am so glad we pressed some of the Bleeding Hearts because now they are all gone.
Thanks for commenting on my blog. We love collecting wildflowers too. My daughter is doing a 4H project for our fall fair on wildflowers. I really enjoyed scrolling down through your entries and the pictures are fantastic!

Those pressed flowers look so lovely. I don't think I have ever pressed a dandelion, but yours turned out so pretty I think we will have to give it a try. I have enjoyed all your photos of your garden, they are very inspiring. My garden is doing very well this spring from all this cold wet weather also. My basil plants are the only ones that seem to disagree with it. I think I will pick up some new ones and start over with those. The bleeding hearts... oh, those are so precious. Ever since I read The Charlotte Mason Companion by Karen Andreola, I have wanted bleeding hearts. When we moved to our current home 6 years ago, there were 2 nice bleeding hearts already waiting for me. What a thrill!!
BTW, thank you for your kind and thoughtful comments on my blog concerning "my interview". That was a first for me and it was very humbling.

Oh, and we went to the Indy Zoo last Thursday. I saw that you had gone earlier that week. We had a lot of fun, Bre took her drawing pad and Emily had the camera and we turned it into a relaxed day of nature study. It was the first time we had done that and it was nice.
