Walking With Him

Muffins

(obviously, the muffins. Don't they look good?)

Bug

A bug that one of us girls found and I figured was a good photo op.

Sunset

That was a sunset! Isn't it gorgeous?

sky

A look over the lake...

Another sunset!

And another sunset. We were blessed with stunningly beautiful scenery at our campsite. Thank You, Lord!

Jun. 6, 2007 - Rambles

The Lord has been so good to me. The past two weeks have been so painful, and yet have given me a previously-unseen glimpse into the beautiful grace of Him. The hours spent with tears running down my face are all worth it because I know Him more.

My big news for this week: I'm done with school! Yah-Yah-Yah!!!!!!!! I feel so happy about that.

Last Sunday was the busiest Sunday I've had in a while---we went to church in the morning, then we went to "Lunch Bunch", home, to a friend's house at which I attempted to take my brother and sister out in a canoe, and then to a baseball game which our church team won. YA! Then, on Monday, I had a closing party for my science/literature classes. It was fun, but one poor buy got his tooth broken by a frisbee. That night I had Bible study, then I went to another baseball game.

Today I have packaged [almost] all my Canada letters, and hope to get them out soon. Oh! The Walk for Life was last Saturday, and I won 1st prize. ;)

May. 26, 2007 - Here I am!

I can't believe that it did not come to me sooner, to join HomeschoolBlogger.com. After all, I'm a homeschooler who blogs---hello?! Oh well, here I am.

This morning our power went out. Thankfully, it's nearing summer, so the days are bright. But what a horrible surprise was mine, when I realized that because the power was out, the computers did not work! I know, I can almost hear the eyes rolling. Yet, I simply chalk it up to being a technologically-illiterate girl, and having flaxen hair. Mind you, not completely flaxen, but enough to make a difference. ;)

Right now, I am babysitting two little charming tykes. Well, mostly charming. One is a 7 year old boy, the other an 8 year old girl. How does one have space? I guess one doesn't, if one has children or is babysitting. The verse, "bearing one another's burdens", and all that other love stuff is coming back to me. Paul must have babysat.

I believe that is it for now. As my dear Uncle says, "Toodle-pip!"
