My violin teacher let me take the violin I am looking at buying home. It has a really nice voice, I am going to post a picture that I realy quickly took, and tommorow I will post the nice pictures of the violin. Bare in mind that it is oover 200yrs old.

Oh, wow...that is gorgeous. I love instruments with history! My teacher was given a violin that a Jewish family carried out of Germany with them during the holocaust...at one of our concerts, she plans to perform the solo from Schindler's List on it. I thought that was pretty cool! Unfortunately, my viola is fresh out of a music store, so it doesn't really have a story :-).
Here's hoping you can get it!

That's funny--I always thought the high E string was better for major, fast songs! I absolutely love minor stuff, and I think the viola's C string is perfect for that :-). Although I guess Schindler's List does have that gorgeous minor violin theme that goes waaay up on the E string....

I just started playing the violin about 1 year and a half....... And my mom and violin teacher is trying to stick me in a quartet! :(
