Jul. 13, 2008 - About time
Well, think it is about time I updated my blog. And you know how it is with everyone, we all use the same excuse every time we don’t post in a while- I’ve been Sooo Busy"
"I haven't had time" and on, and on.
Well I have been and I haven't had time. My family just moved in 4days ago, and we set the computer up on Friday. We've been working very had to settle our house before we have to start school, before we really start over again here.
But, we have met a few people here, and yesterday was one of our neighbors' son's 12th birth day party.
And for it, he had many of his friends and all my brothers, over, and then we all went to the creek near our house to go fishing. We caught tons of fish and then had lunch. After lunch I took a few people, and brought my canoe over. (I paid one fourth of the cost to buy the canoe)
Then while we put the canoe in loaded it up (with have the party goers), while the rest of the people we all swimming in the creek. and we left them with half the people from the party, we went about half a mile down stream to some old mining equipment that out only out neighbors, and now us know about. There we all pulled the canoe onto the land and (over near to mining equipment the water is deep enough to jump off the mining equipment and into the water. (Which we did for a while). Then we left to get the other half of the party, on the way back my brothers decided to flip the canoe to surprise everyone on board. And we did, twice dumping everyone on, into the creek. Also at one point we had several people on the canoe and we were going really fast, we hit a low hanging tree limb that was over the creek, when we hid it and it smacked everyone onboard, as it did, it dropped hundreds of little spiders all over us and the canoe. So, we quickly capsized the canoe, which washed the pests off. We then flipped it, bailed it, and got back in.
Before the day was over we had canoed, fished, and swam, for 5hours straight.
Now, what made the occasion particularly fun was, being the oldest guy there, and put in charge of the canoe the other people (unlike my brothers listed to me, ad respected me, says allot about brothers in general)
Well I need to go to church now.
I will ask my neighbors who took lots of pictures, to email me them.
Then, if I find the need I’ll post them.

You'd better find the need to put those pictures up, Luke!! I want to see them!!
Kelsey and I nearly capsized our canoe once. We were trying to swap ends so that she could steer. It didn't really work. Luckly we were in there by ourselves. No wait, Nathaniel was in there with us. When we got back he kept telling us over and over again that he wasn't ever going to ride with us again. I don't know what his problem was. (Six-year-olds these days.)

ROFLOL!!!! The funnest, worst things always happen to you!!!!! I would be screaming the whole time if I was there when the canoes tipped over!!! And eww, the spiders, I bet I would faint!!! Okay, maybe not, but I would panic and drown for sure!! Great enrty! Loved it!!! Not to be pushy, but when are you gonna do the tag? Oh, and I still cant figure out where you moved to!! I know a bunch af the states you went through, but not where you actually are!!!!
okay, I have a serious problem with using exclimation points! :(

It sounds like you all had a good time. It's great that you guys are already meeting people there! We've been here for about two months and have only met 2 or 3 of our neighbors. Thankfully, we do have some friends at church! God bless.
