Luke's Blog

May. 22, 2008 - Please forgive this entry concerning Miss. LandOfPink's comments and entrys regarding my self,

You know Hannah, as I read that I thought of you doing the same thing a cockroach does as it’s being sent down the drain! You are desperately trying to grasp what ever you can, but it never worked for the cockroaches and it won’t work for YOU!

Well, you have tryed to insulted my face and my feet in the same paragraph.
You think my feet are “white and dainty” Well THIS IS A GOOD ONE, when we came and visited, not this time but the last, at ultimate Frisbee, I took my shoes off, as I was taking them of you said,  that you hurt your feet last time you did that, and that is what you said; TWICE.
I did and my feet were JUST FINE afterwards. WHOS FEET ARE WHITE AND DAINTY NOW!

And my face, well it looked like you were trying to say I have a pretty face? Well, I’m flattered, Thanks, I guess. And I can’t believe you pay attention to my feet. Golly. I can hardly bare to look at yours.

And actually I have climbed a rope with bare feet, but if you are strong enough to climb with your arms and hands, then that is better. (I don’t know any girls that can do that)

Now, about the pink thing, do you have any idea how to carry on a reasonable argument???!!!! Besides, I have HALF A MILLION PEOPLE WHO KNOW YOU LIKE PINK< AND THAT YOU JUST DON’T WANT TO ADMIT IT. I also have pictures of you wearing stainless pink clothing, as do most people at church!

The "Spirit of a girl” thing, well, I think that is UNBIBLICAL I thought you got up at 5:30 and did bible study? Plus, that could be taken one of two way’s ONE had better stay in CA, and is repulsive for some one, even some one such as your self to purpose!

Well, Hannah, We are all Fallen sinful people, (Some More then others) None the less, ask almost anyone I know, ("almost" implying Isaac and Sam are the only people who don't count)I have plenty "Positive Traits” (HONISTY is one of them) If you haven't observed any yet I think you have something seriously wrong with you. (We all already knew there was something wrong with you; just we didn't know it was that severe) And you must really like your Physiatrist, a lot!-Because you keep Prescribing one to everyone. And about your shirt being dirty, and the one you do yard work in and all, WELL I AND EVERYONE ELSE DON"T SEE ANY Grass or Mud stains, so you obviously take care not to stain your favorite shirt.

Hannah, the reason for a ("blog party") Is to get more people to your friends blog. (That would be yours)

The truth! It burns you! Some one as "brutally honest” as your self to just be stumped, yeah I bet that comment burns you and your eyes, the incredible amount of truth in one comment! (hatepink comment)
And I am not sure which feminine side of me you think you like to point out. If you mean I'm reasonable, forgiving, smart, honest, intuitive, well those are just good traits. Not feminine....
But I think the fact that I have never owned a single piece of pink Clothing lends more credibility to my argument, unlike you who have been seen by everyone who knows you and now many more people, wearing PINK!

May. 14, 2008 - The Squirrel Trap!

This is just something we do when we get bored. It is the most simple trap-Take a long piece of fishing string, a milk crate, a weight, and a stick.

I think most people know how it works, and probably have made one. (no need to explain)

The squirrels will only chew the plastic when they are left in, when you catch one it is a GOOD IDEA to quickly get out to it or it will chew the plastic on the milk crate. (It doesn't have to be a milk crate, MANY other things work better. This is just what we had at hand.)

(WISE) run the string through a window or door so they cant see you.
(BAIT) the bait is simple, PEANUTS, or a pile of bird seed.
The birds love it to,  but we  DON'T CATCH THE LITTLE BIRDS anymore because if the trap falls on them it can KILL  them. SO DON'T.

DUCKS on the other hand! LOL
WELL THERE YOU HAVE IT.

Apr. 26, 2008 - My violin

This is my violin, that as of yesterday I was content with...............My violin teacher let me play one of her old violins, by old I mean made in the 1700's and it was NICE, she said to talk to my parents, and NOW I am actively looking and reading and sending e-mails to violin shops. But I would like to buy her violin. It is only worth $1,700, because the Scroll is not the original, and on that era the violin maker’s scroll was his signature, and because the scroll was replaced it isn't as old as the rest of the violin. that is really why the value is depreciated, that is not a bad thing for me if I were to buy it, it sounds SOOO NICE it is very experienced, easy to play fits great.
NONE THE LESS here are some pictures of the one I have now.My brother thought it would be funny to stick his hand in the way in this next one........

One of the 7 instrument ensembles, (in this case 2violins, 2cellos, 2 Violas, and a base) played a really nice song that one of the girls wrote, very nice song, Impressive.

Well, I will post later’
until then God bless

Mar. 13, 2008 - GRANDMA UPDATE: READ

Good evening,
This may turn out to be a long post, but I have been asked for an update on my grandmother, and  have been trying to find time to post it.
Well,  I am posting this on Thursday after working all day on getting everything out of my grandmas room and ready for a hospital bed and medical supplies.
But in the last few days my grandmother has been declining very rapidly, and she was not responding to any treatment given her. So she has been moved back to our house to die…… and we have hospice nurses coming every day.  We are just showing her the love and compassion with the time the Lord has given us.

(GOOD NEWS) she wants are dad to read her the Bible all the time, she has confessed Jesus as her Lord and savoir,

(More Bad news) she is still fearful of death, but her body continues to fail her.
I have no Idea what will happen in the next few days or weeks.

I ask nothing different then before,
Peace for her, and my family, that God would be glorified in all that is done and, That she would come to a saving faith in Jesus, and that we could be assured of that.
Thank you all and I’ll post later Lord willing

Luke.

Mar. 9, 2008 - SUPER COOL READ THIS AND LEAVE LOTS OF COMMENTS

Here are some pictures of a very small fraction of my bullet collection, to most girls this will be dull and boring, but I think they are pretty neat. I've  been collecting them since I was four or five.
Right now most of mine are in storage but I have some still here. these pictures are just to give y'all an Idea of my collection. The quality of these picures is not the best...........THATS WHAT YOU GET WITH A CHEAP CAMERA!

Here in this picture there is a 40mm grenade: bottum the big blue one (it is a dummy it will not explode!)
right above it is a 25MM casing, then above that is a 20mm the above that is your 50caliber, then below that is a 30 caliber and infront of that is a 50caliber projectile (the part that leaves the wepon when it is fired.) there are other smaller bullets around it, but you get the Idea. THIS IS A VERY SMALL PART OF MY COLLECTION! I have many many more.
ABOVE: a105mm recoiless rifle casing, this one I found in the woods it is about 10inches tall and about 4 1/2 inches across. It is from wwII-1950s era. When I found  it wasn't fired and the Projectile was missing. I didn't care to dig up a High explosive projectile and risk my life, I dont even know if it was in the same hole, but some where in the woods the projectile is siting there about 7iches under ground, and Hopefully no one will ever find it.

I have many many ww2 bullets that I have found and I have found hundreds of them
I love to metal detect and wwII relics were abundent where I lived.

Mar. 4, 2008 - Prayer request, and "Kill joy Post"

Yes, bad news I know I’ll be a “kill joy” after my last post for posting this. But I’m going to ask for you all’s prayers for my grandmother who is in the hospital and, possibly on her death bed.  We don’t know if she knows Christ as her lord and savior, she has been a devout Catholic and is much steeped in the traditions of the Catholic Church.
I could tell a very long story about the situation and how we got her from Nevada, but I don’t have time. Anyhow right now she is in the hospital because of ammonia and she had a minor heart attack and has fluid around her lungs and heart. If you all could just keep her in your prayers and that in the midst this that God would be glorified and that she would come to a saving faith in Christ.  But that we could be assured of that, for that would be of the most comfort for our family right now, also pray for our dad especially I know it is very hard for him and to see his mom like this. He is an only child and his mom is divorced and that only adds to it.

Sincerely,
C. Luke Johnson

Mar. 2, 2008 - not a girl

Well, I heard from some one that SOME ONE wasn't sure wether I was a guy or A girl! This startled me and made me a little worried. If you are not sure read the "interests" section! I am NOT A GIRL! I hunt, fish, and clean my own animals shoot. "I am not a girl" I collect sharks teeth and bullets! I think knitting and sewing is boring, I think good scars show character. I like to catch snakes, I won't go on any more and I know there are girls that do all those thing, and that list could go on, but no time right now. I think I found a theme for my blog.

Charles Johnson,
"not under any circumstances feminine"

THIS WAS TEST PUTING A PICTURE ON
No I'm not going to say anything about the complexity and detail of this old watch, or contrast God with a watchmaker........But I will tell you that that is the inside of my grandma's mothers watch, which I think my great grandmother recieved from her husband as a wedding gift in 1919. the watch still works I wish the picture would have been clearer, but thats what you get with cheap electronics....
