Hi! Today I made a dolly quilt, but I still had two blocks left so I thought and thought and thought until I thought of something... maybe I could make something for mom! so I made a little purse but it was missing a string so I went and made one of those ropes Oma taught me how to make and sewed it on. When I saw my quilt I thought it looked like it had a little star on it and mom said she thought it looked like a little fishie Well good-by

haven, honestly, you are very talented, you can sew, really really well and you can play your fiddle, (and mando!) really well. I can sew too, but I don't think I can sew as good as you, and I'm older! I think I'm better at baking then sewing. your quilt is beautiful, so is you purse! how did you make you rope? did you braid it? or twist yarn (or string, what ever you used) together? Or, did you do one of those cool things that some people do to make braclets? (sory, I don't know what its called, you do it with hemp, and sometimes that plastic string)
any way, it looks really cool!

I agree with your mom, I think it looks like a fish on your quilt. it looks like you could have done it on purpose. or did you? :)

Haven , your newest quilt is amazing !! And I love the little bag - what a great idea ! You are so talented.

I'll hav eto look for more material. HAve you made a little quilt for the new baby yet? As soon as we have moved (and settled in) I will have to start quilting again too. I am4 quilts behind already. Silas, Evan ,Uly and the new baby are all still 'unquilted' .

hey, thanks for the 'beautiful gift' you sent in the mail.haha me and sloan thought it was pretty funny. did you send some to carrie? before we opened the package peyton was like, 'why do sloan and cai get stuff in the mail and I don't?' then when we opened it up, she knew why you didn't send her any.
anyway, I hope you didn't give away ALL your ummm, beautiful, ummm, unmentionables. I hope you at kept at least 1 for your self...
