a play!

here is a play i wrote, it doesn't have a very good name, so i'm gonna try and think of a better one, but for now its...

Nerdy knight and bossy princess

First scene:

Three princesses on a balcony or porch and a knight below, props: an old spiky tree.

Oldest princes: Oh brave knight! Rescue us!

Knight: okay!

The knight looks around.

Knight: umm what should I climb up on…

He spots the spiky old tree.

Knight: aha!

The knight leans the old tree against the balcony

Oldest princess: what are you doing?

second oldest: yeah! What?

Youngest: what?

Prince: (grunts) I’m pushing this old spiky tree up so I can climb up and save you!

Oldest princess: you could just take the back stairs,

Knight: no! that wouldn’t be heroic enough! This is my first adventure as a knight, it has to be heroic! I should know! I read the guide book for young knights!

Oldest princess: boy, are you nerdy!

second oldest: yeah! Nerdy!

Youngest: nerdy!

Knight: boohoo! I won’t rescue you now! (pout)

Oldest princess: fine! We’ll just take the back stairs!

Second oldest: yeah! Back stairs!

Youngest: stairs!

Scene two:

Three princesses walking along In a dark wood looking rather scared.

Oldest princess: I think we’re lost!

second oldest: yeah! Lost!

Youngest: lost!

Oldest princess: will you two stop copying whatever I say!

The two younger princesses: yeah! you two-

And then they stopped looking rather confused.

All in unison: I think I just heard something!

Scene three: The three princesses back into the knight in the dark wood.

Knight: you again!

Princesses: you again!

scene four:

props: a chair

king, two jigging elves, the queen, and the capton gaurd

king: faster elves! faster!

queen: I don't think they can go much faster dear.

King: well, we'll just have to make them go that much faster!

elves: NO!

the Elves jump on a chair, much to the displeasur of the king.

king: NO-ONE is taller than the KING!

queen: actually, dear, most people are, I am.

king: noooo! wait! I have an Idea! you can just get on the ground and CRAWL from now on! yes! whooo-hooo-ooo whoooo-hoooo-ooo! I'me so smart and great, and, umm... perfect! I shall pass that law for all my kingdom!

guard: what rule sir?

king: the rule i just said! you-you I can't even think of a name insulting enough for what you have done!

guard: oh. sorry sir i didn't hear it could you tell me?

king: (exasperated sigh) the rule that everyone has to crawl from now on! so, get on the ground!

the gaurd looks unhappy, but then, quickly uses his brain.

guard: but sir, how can i protect you when I'me laying on the ground?

king: hmmph! i hate it when you beat me with common sense! it makes me feel like i haven't got any!

guard under his breath: you haven't!

king: what was that?

guard: nothing, sir.

meanwhile...

back to the woods with the princesses, and the knight.

oldest princess: finally! now you can save us from these woods!

knight: actually... I'me lost too...

what will happen! will the knight, and princess find thier way out of the woods? how do the king and queen come into the story? just becouse i wanted them to?
