Today we celebrated our oldest daughter's 8th birthday by making her a 'Jesse Bear' cake.  She loves Jesse Bear books.  Though before we ate cake, ice cream and opened up her gifts, we went to a local state park this evening for a fast-food picnic supper.  We don't often eat out, but this was a treat to the kids.  And the nature was glorious!  We had a wonderful time. Check out the pictures below
