Oct. 12, 2006 - October Afternoon Praises

...for walks around the neighborhood, enjoying the chilly autumn morning air,
beautifully colored leaves blowing all around me.

Praise God...

...for the opportunity Travis and I had last night to laugh at my inability to
differentiate between Banana Peppers and Jaloros in preparation of our dinner.
(Even amidst the scorching pain of fiery hotness searing our throats and burning our eyes
as a result of my confusion, we were still able to laugh. )

  vs.

Praise God...

...for recent and upcoming weddings between special people who the Lord

has brought together in His own special way.

Praise God...

...for the kicks, stabs and punches of a little baby who's growing and changing inside me,
awaiting his entry into the world.

Praise God...

...for late night talks with my soul mate about anything and everything on our minds and hearts.

Praise God...

...for this life we have to live...

...for His graciousness even in pain...

...for His unfailing mercy even when we don't deserve it...

...and for His ever-faithful LOVE and FORGIVENESS.

Aw, I enjoyed reading this! I miss those late night talks with my soul mate, though. It's hard to squeeze those in now that we are 3. But life is so much richer with our precious addition and I'd have it no other way!
