Jan. 6, 2006 - Knight in Shining Armor
This is for all you beautiful single young women out there waiting patiently for your Knight in Shining Armor to arrive and come sweep you off your feet! So many times we girls especially become discontent wanting a special relationship with the one God has for us when it just isn't the right time yet. The Lord did such a work in my life before He brought my precious Mr. Fantastic along to come and win my heart. This Love Letter From God was sent to me about 5 years ago and it touched me deeply when I read it. It is exactly what the Lord did for me.
I hope this encourages you today!!
Having an intimate, personal and unique relationship with Me... Discovering that only in Me is your satisfaction to be found, then you will be capable of the perfect human relationship that I have planned for you. You will never be united completely with another until you are united completely with Me, above all other desire and longing. Allow Me to give you the most thrilling plan that exsists...one you could not possibly imagine! I want you to have the best. Please allow Me to give it to you. You must keep watching Me, expecting the greatest things...Keep listening and learning the things I promise and mean. Be patient...that is all.
Don't be anxious (Matt. 6:34), don't worry, don't look around at the things others have gotten, or what I have given them. Don't look at the things you think you want, just keep looking up to Me...or you will miss what I want to show you. And then...when you are ready, I'll surprise you with a love far more wonderful than you could dream of. You see...until you are ready and until the one I have for you is ready (which I am working even at this moment to have you ready at the same time), you will not be able to experience the love that exemplifies your relationship with Me. Until you are both satisfied with Me and the life I want you to have, you will not be able to have that perfect love. And dear one...I want you to have the most wonderful love. I want you to see in the flesh a picture of your relationship with Me and enjoy an everlasting union of beauty, perfection, and love that only I can offer.
Know that I love you...I am God Almighty.
Believe and be satisfied.

Years ago, I got this from friends at the christian college I attended and printed it up real small & I always kept it in my purse. I also made copies (back then) & passed them out to my sister & younger cousins at the time. I was actually thinking about this message not that long ago and tried searching for it online (to journal about & give to my daughters when they get older.)
Thanks so much for posting it here!!! I can tell we think a lot alike. ; ) I have such a big heart for young single women and the plans that God has for them. Keep doing what you're doing- God is truly using you in extraordinary ways ......

While Brittany and I were looking at your post together she saw the knight and
just sighed out loud so big like she could "swoon". LOL She's such a giggly, silly girl.
She's a mess but I told her she has a llooonnngggg time to worry about that but that it's good to go ahead and pray for that one that she'll meet one day.
I need to print this and keep it for her. We enjoy your blog very much.
