I think this is going to be a day for tears. I don't know why, but it is.
I may go have a bath with my new bubble bath to help me feel happy. I love a great smelling soap. It makes my day!

May. 21, 2008 - Inspiring!
Well I found an amazing blog site here on homeschool blogger. She has insprired me so much and I've only read 3 blog entries. I must find her and add her to my friend list. (if I can figure out how!)
So I ordered Sonlight but I am still not sure what I am going to be doing next year. I want to make sure I include a fair amount of Canadian content and that's difficult to do with Sonlight. Although, sonlight's literature is amazing. So hard to choose! We've got a wonderful library started here at home and I know it will only get better as the years go by. THere are such good books out there and I am a book junkie. I go into my homeschool room and I love the smell in there---it smells like books!

It's been a long time since I blogged here but I wanted to touch base again.
I am in the time of year now when the kids and I are just tired of school. We see summer coming and just want to have fun.

Feb. 29, 2008 - Thinking of SONLIGHT on this cold day...
Well it's another cold day here! -13! Wow. Can't imagine those hot summer days when we feel this cold. But, I love the seasons. We are blessed to be able to see all of them here. My favorite of course is fall. What beautiful colours light our world!
Are there any other mom's here who are planning on using Sonlight next year? I am debating it and would love to chat with another mom. It's a big purchase to make and I want it to be the right one.

Feb. 27, 2008 - Moving Day
Well, it's moving day for our neighbours today. Moving is such a big job! I don't envy them! I am praying that we are blessed with new neighbours that have children my kids ages. That would be so nice! It would be amazing to have another homeschooling family. Wow! Could you imagine how wonderful that would be? Homeschooling is becoming more popular around here but not huge yet.
We have to head off to church today for kid's club. I am seeing our daughter lead this in such a beautiful way. She has a gift of leadership and she is still so young. I pray her gifts will always be used to honor God. I pray this also for our son. He's such a brilliant boy!

Feb. 26, 2008 - A new day
Well, we are getting another snow storm here today. I love the look of snow falling but it's not really fun to have to shovel it all or drive in it.
The kids are ready to begin another day. They don't want to have a day like yesterday and neither do I. They have ambitions to do well and be focused. I am so blessed to be able to teach them.
