Merry Christmas 2008...

A year of firsts and a few lasts!

First trip as a family to Disneyland and Bear Lake for extended family reunion this summer.

First year of school for E.  Enjoying homeschool kindergarten & learning to read.

First air conditioning in our house.  No more inefficient swamp cooler.

First paid piano lessons for J.  Gets to take them from her aunt at a music academy.  She’s our first child to turn eight—got baptized in August.

First preschool for W.  Loves going once a week to play with her neighborhood friends.

First time Mindy is pregnant with baby due in the spring and it will be first little brother for E.

Last year G. will probably be working at his current highschool.  Applied for math teaching position at a new one being built only 5 min. from our house.

Last sibling in G.’s family of 10 to get married.  Enjoyed family reunion with the whole clan.  (Photo is of us at the outdoor reception in June.)
