So. Went to see Fort Pastor tonight. Basically amazing. Laughed really hard. My favorite part was the end.
Okay. So we get there, right? I don't see my people, so I just sit in the back while the first band was playing (they stunk). My mom comes in, etc, I see Kiaya and Zeke, I go over to them, we hug, go back to my parents, Jim Trick comes, he blows me a kiss cuz he's weird, I go ask Roger if it' ok for me to take pictures, Kiaya disappears, Fort Pastor comes out, and by the time they began their first song, we (Mr. Gable, Myself, Kiaya and Zeke) we nicely situated in the front row, just like last year.
The show goes on, stories are shares, pictures and video are taken, and well...it was overall fantastic.
At the END, though...the end of the show was my highlight. Kiaya and I kind of waited for a little bit for our turn to greet the guys or whatever (as we were waiting, Jeff saw us and said, "Hey, I remember you from last year!), we notice my parents, and I see my dad talking with Jono. I figure he remembers him from their ride on the ski-lift at SoulFest. Soon, my dad calls me over and I am re-introduced to Jono, who, after a small memory jog (me doing their merch), remembered me quite well. :) Chatting passes, Kiaya, Zeke and I get a picture together, and soon Brant Christopher is free. I turn toward him and he's like, "Hey, Hannah! How's it going?" And he gave me a hug. He proceeded to hug us all, and we again chatted some more. We got a group photo....
I also got pictures with each member because...I...do that sort of thing. xD Um. But yeah. So, after the pictures and stuff, I went and checked out the merch. The shirts were kind of expensive, so I asked the lady doing the table if there was a special half-off discount for people who have a birthday on Valentine's Day. She then directed me to the manager, who directed to the band. I asked Brant, and he said sure. I gave him a hug, and got a t-shirt for 10 dollars. Yay =D Mmm...talked with Jim Trick for a little bit (I'm hoping he'll be my link to Kevin Max in the future...). He might also give me a job, but I don't know.
OK. So, my happy moments are winding down. I had the band re-sign my shirt that I got last year, but had them put the year on it. I got special messages this time, since we're like, biffles (or according to Zeke, we're family). Well ok, I only got one special message, but you know. Jono (hee) wrote "Yay 4 Hannah" on it. AND THEN HA. As he was walking away, he turned around and was like, "Hey, Hannah," and threw me his sharpie. Hee. I have Jono's blue sharpie. Ha. So happy. I wrote on Kiaya's jeans with it. She said that it hurt our friendship (because I wrote on her knee, and she was freaking out from being ticklish).
Um. So yeah. Kiaya got a picture with Jim Trick (I did too. He said he was only going to do it if I put it on MySpace and wrote in the caption that he's awesome. Which I did.) And I got a picture with Josh Sturgeon, who's a musician from Boston areaish. He was nice. It was funny, because he added me on MySpace a while ago, and I didn't really listen to him or anything, but it was neat that he was there. xD
=D
Ok. So, basically...the night was amazing, and it's a bummer that Abi and Jim didn't get to come, because it was fantaaaastic. :) Ok. My head hurts. I'm going to bed. Bye.
So, yeah, Jim Trick FTW. I listened to his MySpace and it is totally cool stuff.
The concert ROCKED. Stunk that Jim and the gals (See, Moriah was originally going to take Abi's place.) couldn't go - but we rocked it, didn't we Hannah? And you totally DID NOT mention the Runaway Jono-Loving baby. :-P
It was an awesome night. Why don't we do it again? lolz.
The concert was very fun. FP puts on a great show. Plus, it's crazy to be able to hang out with folks and chill and chat and laugh. I really could have stayed a few hours just trying to get a word in edgewise with the Z-man and feeling cool with JT and studying Miss Kiaya's face and watching you have fun.
