Let's Dare to Change the World

Feb. 14, 2008 - Redemption is waiting at your doorstep

So. I'm 17 years old today.  Actually, it's official in about 40 minutes or so.

Was at AGAPE most of the day, but I was greeted by Kiaya and Emily T screaming HAPPY BIRTHDAY HANNAH!!! and tackling me in a hug.  Abi gave me a cupcake, and um...I don't remember much else. I only got 4 and a half hours of sleep last night, okay?

I straightened my hair last night (11 pm. Foolish, but worth it.)  People seemed to like it a lot.  Mrs. MacG like..demanded that I do it everyday - NO WAY.  Not taking 2 and a half hours to straighten my hair, yo.

Went out for Chinese food with my parents which was really nice, and I opened my gifts which were splendiferous.  Came home and am chilling.  I'm so tired. =p  Talked with Archie for a nice long time. Fun. ha.

Oy. So yeah.  I'm tired. GOOD TIMES ARE COMING.

Hannah,

I did love your hair! Listen, I understand what curly hair is all about. I had straight hair for 5 days once. It also took my hair stylist to straighten my hair (it was longer then) about 2+ hours. But, I loved it! My hair actually swished when I walked! Simple pleasures my dear! Well, I didn't wash my hair until I absolutely had to. This was the time I also found out my hair color was actually very pretty, just like Isabelle's now. Of course, I now have a crown of glory-gray/brown.

Well my dear, happy birthday! Your dad looks like he is feeling so much better now. Tell your mom I say hello.

Maybe Becca can straighten both our hair during a marathon hairstyling session sometime. By the way, I "think" this was the first time I was mentioned in a blog! I feel so important!

Love, Mrs. MacG!

Your hair looked great, I must admit. Even though I'm usually anti-nature, you did a good job and it was very flattering. The pics you took of yourself hardly captured the look. Next time, I'll be armed with my own camera. You should do it again for GenJ.

Well, I don't feel like we celebrated enough. I'm glad you have your party coming up. Your B-day was so subdued! Not even a candle to blow out! :(

Why don't you poll your friends who are coming to the party to ask what they want for b-day cake. What kind of cake, or would they like cheesecake, or pie? If I do make cake, I will use Joanna's frosting recipe.

Okee-Dokee!
I love you, Birthday Girl!
XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO
