The New "Dos"

It feels like it has been forever since I was able to post a "Show and Tell" with Mary.  I have missed everyone!  Earlier this week I posted a column here about how my daughter and I had accidentally gotten the same haircut.  Several people asked for a "comparision photo."  So, here's my daughter and what her haircut should actually look like:

This is how she changed her hair when she got home:

This is my new hair (I noticed that I changed the part on mine without realizing it! Plus, I am not sure why photos of me always turn out blurry. Hmmm...)  My hair is always "poufy."

I think we have now changed the styles enough that my daughter should not worry we will look alike now.

Love the hair styles on both of you! Your dd looks younger ...not sure she would want to hear that! Really a nice style for her. So whats with the blurry photos of you? I like that style on you. Very fresh.
The photo (WW) is in Pacifica California at Sunset. My middle son took it while we were on vacation a few years ago. I am looking for something to post for S&T. Been relaxed about stuff this month and really don't have anything special to show. Unless its cleaned out shelves and school desk...but who wants to see that!

Her "change" looks good... especially because she smiled for the photo! :)

I wonder why your pictures are blurry. I'll have to bring a camera to the fair and see if we can remedy that. ;)

You two look great! Your daughter might not like to know that I aspire to get my short locks into your very same style. It's just taking forever. Twisted.

I remember not wanting to look like my mom when I was a teenager. How little we know. Now, I hope I follow in her footsteps and am able to retain my age like she does. Maybe she'll be there with ya one day!!

(We can hope, right?)

I think they (the haridos) look different!!
Thanks for sharing,

Very attractive cut on both of you. Cute that you had to change a little so it wasn't exactly alike. My daughter hasn't hit that age yet, so maybe when I take her with me for haircuts next week we should get the same style! LOL

Blessings,
Kym

Isn't imitation the sincerest form of flattery?

I think you both look beautiful, and I wouldn't say that the cuts look alike. You both wear them differently and to suit your personal styles.

So glad you posted a photo of you! I think you both look great! You had me in stitches the other day with your comment about giving them extra chores! Go you! You brightened a very dull day. Thank you so much! Oh, and I got tagged about husbands via a different way so you'll hear more form me on that score too. Though, I asked him who first said 'I love you' and he hadn't a clue, mind you I don't remember either, so it might take a while to get mine done!
Bless you!

You have similar cuts, but not enough alike to worry her any longer, :). Thanks for posting, and for inviting us in today!!

Have a blessed weekend!

I like the cuts. :') I got mine cut a couple weeks ago, and I'm fairly happy with it. I know when I get one I like because I don't have to go back for a long time. ;')

Hope you are having a relaxing summer!

Love the pics! You are both beautiful, and I like the after look of your daughter MUCH better, both because the hair looks better and her smile!

Why are the ones of you always blurry????? Now that's bizarre!

I think you two look quite different on the hair, because yours is fluffy. I would never know they were the same cut. :-)

Farrah

You haircuts look so beautiful. Daughters are too funny....I think it's cute you got the same "do".

And why is it that you always come out so blurry? ;o)

It usually looks like the first picture, I like it better in the first picture, in the second picture, I have it pushed behind my ears where I can READ.
please, remove the picture AND alter your poor readers' memories.
Thank you.

Have a nice day.

My daughter would "just die" if we got the same haircut. I think they are both cute.
