till i just read Spunky's entry about homeschool conventions....that in my almost 10 years of homeschooling, i have never been to a ONE!!!!!!

which is where my stinkpot cousin James comes in....

he will be at the Florida convention...he and his wonderful, non-stinkpot wife Brenda go every year, and stay with my other cousin (also a non-stinkpot) as she lives in Orlando, very near to that convention that he has ben absolutely GLOATING about (okay, maybe 4 emails???) but he can not only see and HEAR Carol Barnier, but MEET JenIG and gang!!!!

where is the justice in this???? this is a man who, as a teenager, tied his cousin (who was very bratty as it turns out, but that is WAY beyond the point!) to an oak tree in the front yard and proceeded to try and light a bonfire under that same cousin!!!! should he REALLY be able to meet all these neato-spedeeto people that are near and dear to  my hearts?????

JEN!!!!! if a man with a big wooly beard comes up to you, don't go near any trees with him!!!!!! you have been warned! (and make sure you give him an autographed pic for me please )

I haven't been to your blog in a long time! I missed you!
I was going through some of your older posts - and I wanted to comment about the one regarding the boycott of the Pearl's - TOS, etc. If we lived our lives asking "What Would Jesus Do?" no matter how cliche it may be - we would realize that some of these so-called "boycotts" are more akin to a witch-hunt. I don't know much of anything about the Pearls - but I wouldn't spend so much energy tearing down the ministry of another believer - especially like you say if they're making such an impact.
