Media Free Week

Posted in blogging blah blah

my little guys are spending WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY too much time in front of the TV and I am spending waaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy too much time on the computer....

so next week will be media free week around here...at least till Daddy comes home from work!  but even then i'm determined to not turn the computer on...or the swirling vortex know as the "world wide web" will suck me into it's awesome powers once again!

so, pray for me and the family....

be blessed!

I know exactly what you mean about the computer!

We don't really have the tv problem here anymore since it has been strictly banned for the children except for on Sunday mornings where they are allowed to watch PBS until it's time for church. It's also a decent lineup that morning with Thomas the Tank Engine, Berenstain Bears and George Shrinks. They are also limited to only one video a day (although they don't even watch that every single day).

I think it was tough the first two days we cut out the media...but then they (and I) found plenty of other things to do!

You definitely won't regret it! I still need to work on the computer time though. I go through spells of good and bad...

Love,
Marsha

This is a good thing you are going to do!!!

Remember me??? I'm electronic free during the summer. It will amaze you the difference at the end of the week. Try with all of your might to even stay away in the evenings. Grab a book to read with the kiddos or something!!!

I'll be praying Pokey as the Holy Spirit leads this week!

How'd computer/TV free week go?

Just stopping by to wish you a Happy Mother's Day on Sunday! May you find true joy in your children and the blessing of motherhood.

Praise God for allowing us such a wonderful, life changing experience as raising His children!

In Him,
Amy
