for posting this. My ds (4) has absense epilepsy and was diagnosed at about 18 mths. This is a life crippling nuerological disease so thank you for wanting to educate others.

My best friend from middle school has had epilepsy for most of her life. Thankfully hers is largely under control, but she does have an occasional seizure. I've never witnessed one, though.

Hoping something good can come out of this tragedy.
