almost one year...and i can have a contest now too!
Posted in blogging blah blah

wow, i talk alot!
i have 12 pages of archives, i have been blogging on HSB a year in August (the 26th to be exact) but i was blogging on "Blogger" for about a month before that
so now I can have a contest!!!!
to celebrate a year in the blogging world!

okay...so i just really want to host a contest!
my prize? one bar of the most lucious soap "Buttered Honey" from Laura*s Lathers!
Laura has been a cyber-friend of mine for about...3 or so years now. She makes the best soaps, not to mention body butters, sugar scrubs, insencse sticks and so forth.
So, here's the rules
-post a link to the contest on your blog
-leave me a semi-obscure comment and a link back to your blog
-winner will be selected by my son Big J, since he's going away to college and he helped me figure out some of the CSS stuff to make my templets, on July 25th. Just a general pick out of the comments left here
sounds like fun, yes?
even if it doesn't, enter the contest...you won't be sorry to have a wonderful bar of Laura's soap

Happy Birthday!! I can't believe some of us are turning one year old! Ohhh, I'd love some yummy soap, so I'm throwing my bloggging towel into the contest ring.
Now, in honor of my lexicon entry...and to get you to come see my contest announcement for your contest.

A policeman or fireman in Atlanta is an Atlanta brave.
Ok, not nearly as clever...in fact pretty bad..makes you want to read something better..

I have no idea what a semi-obscure comment is, most of my family and friends would say most of what comes out of my mouth is obscure...
If the Amish as a whole reject most technology, why do they choose to embrace other inventions... like the "wheel"
No offense meant to any Amish out there... but what are you doing on the internet anyway? :)

I think it's super cool that you make your own soaps and incense. How awesome! I enjoyed reading your blog. I also borrowed some of your blinkies!! (I am just nuts about those things!)
Anyway, if you feel like it, you can stop by my blog as well.

I want to join the contest too but I am new to all this linking stuff. I am not sure what semi-obsure means but how about this:
I swim like a dog but not like a man.
I laugh every time I think of it. My 5yo told me this yesterday while eating lunch. Don't ask me what it was suppose to mean!?!??
