Friday Report

nothing much to report today

this weekend we are getting our "teepee" making supplies...next week, while i read "Squanto" and maybe "Pocahontas" and all that fun stuff, i'll let them decorate some fabric and we'll have our teepee made...and i'll make some "indian fry bread" so we can sit in the teepee and watch some sort of DVD that deals with Indians...i'll have to go and search over on ActAdvantage...i have a free subscription thanks to TOS free gifts! they have TONS of great DVD's to choose from...i got a little overwhelmed

Sabbath dinner plans tonight are as follows, with the varying circumstances of 1) our ice storm and 2) my beloved may stay overnight by his brother, so we'll either have meatloaf and mashed potatoes or spaghetti

you can check my Xanga blog for my reading list, and as for what we are reading aloud, today happens to be Dr Suess' birthday!

since we don't eat pork anymore we'll have to find a suitable substitute for our annual "Green Eggs and Ham" breakfast  how about "Green Eggs and Turkey Sausage"??? (actually the boys had "green bacon" and bagels)

Suess games

Suess information (TONS of it!)

Suess lesson plans

i have an anthology of 13 Suess stories, including Yertle, McElligot's Pool and the one that always makes me cry "Oh! The Places You'll Go!" I know many people think of Suess as "twaddle" but we LOVE him!

off to go let the boys play in Suessville

Blessed Sabbath!
