Nov. 22, 2007 - Co-op Art
We have a wonderful co-op once a month. I teach a fun class on art in children's literature. We draw inspiration from a Caldecott winning book . I have also been using lessons from Mona Brook's book "Drawing with Children". These were my sons' warm-up pictures. We looked at "Jumanji" by Chris VanAllsburg and found the five elements of shape. Then we used these elements as I led the students through drawing a bird. They loved it. I thoght these pictures were so wonderful.

Fall is a beautiful season but I would have to say that spring is my favorite season.
