About The Hunters

My dear sweet hubby, Ron, and I have been married for 20+ years. We began dating during my freshman year at Free Will Baptist Bible College in Nashville. He is my college sweetheart. We have ministered together in various ministries during our lives together. We pastored for 10 years in Florida. We moved to TN in 2000 to Co-Pastor with some friends of ours. The Lord has given me a fabulous provider whom I love more than any words I write could ever express. He is now the CEO at our denomination's publishing company, Randall House Publications. I am honored to support him.

Our oldest child is named Michael. He is now officially a teenager, although I don't think I'm old enough to have a teenager. He is a very sweet and considerate young man. He is my thinker and my reader. He absorbs every piece of new information that he comes across. He loves playing soccer, riding his bike, skateboarding, reading, watching the History Channel, the Military Channel, ESPN and any documentary on TV. I am privileged to be his Mother.

Lauren is our youngest child. She is just 15 months behind her brother in age. She is wise beyond her years. She has a sharp-witted tongue (which sometimes has to be tamed), a quick sense of humor and a heart for people and animals. She loves organizing anything and everything. She loves being with her friends, singing, talking on her cell phone and playing soccer. I am blessed to be her Mother.

Prayer Needs

I know that I have been too quiet for the last few weeks. There is a lot going on in the life of my family. And the whole update situation has me very frustrated.

My best friend's family has now moved to town. They are no longer pastoring. They are transitioning back into a lay family's life. Please pray for them. It's not an easy transition to make in the best of times. They are just a few doors up and we are all loving that. Their children are settling into new schools. That is never easy for children. Brian is settling into a 9-5 job again. Who likes that??? And Kim is looking for a job. They could certainly use any prayers you could offer on their behalf.

My Aunt Brenda is in the hospital right now dying with lung cancer. Please pray for my other aunts and uncles as well as my Mom. I don't have any brothers or sisters but I can't imagine what it would be like to have one who is dying. My Aunt is a Christian and is ready to go to be with our Lord.

I hope to be back on a regular blogging basis again soon. Until then - thank you for your prayers.

i am sorry about your aunt brenda. you hadn't mentioned her in quite a while and in fact, i thought about her last week. i bought a book last night called my 90 minutes in heaven by don piper. i started reading and couldn't put it down. gee imagine me staying up till 4am reading!!...........on the other note, i am sooooo happy for you that kim is living so close! in the picture of the 2 of you, you can see how very happy the both of you are to be together!
