Hollylooyah: A Homeschooling Adventure

Tuesday, May 9

Noah did NOT want to stop stimming today, and that was hard to conquer.  His therapy was a little different today, so we worked before Kim came and then after.  He met his speech goal for the day and drank 8.5 ounces of pediasure... he is improving in these areas sooooo much.  Noah had respite tonight and had a fun time with Caroline.

Andy had his first soccer game, and he was so cute and hyper.  He doesn't really know the first thing about soccer, so he was really confused.  I guess that is going to come eventually.

Wednesday, May 10

Noah enjoyed singing "Happy Birthday" and "It's a Small World."  He drank 4.5 ounces of Pediasure.

Thursday, May 11

Met the speech goal today.  I am not sure how much Pediasure he drank because I lost count after 1 ounce.  He had therapy basically all day, which was a good thing because I haven't been feeling very good.

Friday, May 12

He drank 2.5 ounces of Pediasure and met his 6 verbalization speech goal.  He went on a long walk with Andy, Scott, Deanna, and Tara at Racoon River Park.

Saturday, May 13

We went to Iowa City for my Josh's graduation party.  The kids did pretty good.  Andy played games and Noah did a lot of roaming, but still they acted pretty appropriately so that is good.  We stopped at the outlet and we all went shopping, it started disastrously and ended with smiles.

Sunday, May 14  Mother's Day

The boys gave me pictures that they had made, and Andy made me a little sack full of Playdough snakes.  It was a happy day at church and then at Scott's parents' house.

Noah had a baseball game today and really enjoyed it, although it was really cold!
