Today Kim came instead of on Tuesday. Noah did the best he's ever done with drinking Pediasure. He drank an entire 12 ounces! It took him all morning, but he did it. He really enjoyed his Mr. Noah bathroom book.
A funny thing that Andy says now is "worm stinks." It is sort of a funny word that just makes him laugh and laugh. It is so cute to see the kind of jokes he comes up with.

Noah drank 8 oz. today! He is working on his July 1 goal of 8 verbalizations a day. He enjoyed singing "It's a Small World" today. Tonight Caroline and Marie came for date night. It was fun because Andy had soccer and then Scott and I went out to dinner at the Latin King and a movie.
In Noah's program, his improvement in toileting, drinking Pediasure and talking are all improving, but I would really like to somehow transfer the data from his ABLLS assessment into some great goals that I can really work on with him. I would like to get some better academic goals in place.

Great talking today. He was a little trooper. He started out upset and grew much happier.
Andy has been using his imagination so much. He is always some imaginary creature playing some superhero game or something. He has been very sweet and cuddly lately. He really enjoys pretending to be a cat and meows often. I asked him the name of his cat Meow's mother and he said "Kangaroo cat." The dad was "Kangaroo dad" I think and the brother was "Kangaroo Noah." He sometimes just cracks me up where I can hardly breathe I am laughing so hard. He has such amazing passions and personality.

He worked hard today. This week has been a whirlwind of appts. and meetings and it is just going to get worse until it gets better. We felt like we needed a vacation or something different so tonight we ate out at the Drake Diner with Allen and Deanna. I brought some toys for the boys and they lasted through the entire meal... a sit down restaurant.... gasp. It was great! Then we went to Target and window shopped for about a half an hour, just looking at toys and games, and all kinds of things. It was so fun to just spend time with the boys on relaxing stuff.

Noah had his yearly case management meeting. It was fun to see how much he has grown this year. We picked up his new orthotics today and got an evaluation for PT. She will probably see him in a few months. Noah LICKED pizza and put it in his mouth!!!!! We were all flabbergasted! We simply could not believe it. The child is amazing. Andy was so excited for Noah too. It was a very nice moment. Oh and he went POOPY on the POTTY! Will wonders never cease? |
