I never thought I would be a blogger! When TOS asked me to participate, I was hesitant but decided to give it a try.

After Aslan (who is the world's greatest blog support, by the way) worked me through the ins and outs of how to get my blog up and running and then how to "unsquish" my photo, I started writing and immediately got addicted. For instance, for the next two weeks I have relatives visiting from out of town; and although I love my family and I'm enjoying them immensely, I keep finding myself "sneaking off to take a peek at what's going on at homeschoolblogger.com.

As a matter of fact, it's 3:30 a.m. when I'm writing this and hoping no one catches me.

If this keeps up, my husband is threatening to send me to the nearest BA (oops, I mean AA) group.

Thanks, TOS, I am now a confirmed blogoholic!

Leave a testimony

"I've placed banner ads in The Old Schoolhouse e-news, printed ads in their magazine, and had reviews done by the TOS staff.

Within days of the ads appearing, the orders started flowing in!

This keeps me busy, but it's great for business!

I read my TOS magazine from cover to cover... even the ads!... so, I am quite sure the multitudes they are reaching with the magazine will see my ad too!

The marketing dept. has been terrific in accommodating my advertising needs.

Thanks, TOS!"

We love Unit Studies in our homeschool! What's not to love? Curriculum and teaching covered under one base topic that covers all subjects (we add a solid Math program in as well)! Prepare & Pray and Blessed Assurance are not just any Unit Study though! Based on the literary classic "Swiss Family Robinson" in Prepare and Pray and "Sign of the Beaver" and "Robinson Crusoe" in Blessed Assurance (these titles are family favorites!), these Units are full of fun and adventure, as well as academics and they include projects that are family friendly and useful!...

We have the Power to say NO or YES to conflict an strife!! Apostle James wrote, "For wherever there is jealousy and contention, there will be confusion and all sorts of evil and vile practices" James 3:16.    ALSO "Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration and holiness without which on one (more)

Life for the Lupton’s in Ghana is rolling along smoothly.  by Donna
A funny: The other day Paul brought home a movie that he, Addi and I watched while the boys were at rehearsal. The next night, I told the boys that I would watch it with them. So, we put on this movie… and about 10 minutes into it Dev looks over at Dyl and says, “Oh, I see why Mom likes this movie. It gives her hope.” You see this movie was about a college graduate that could not get a job, so she had to move back in with her parents. Ya, I smacked him with a pillow.   One (more)
Better  by mrsowr
I definitely feel better today, maybe getting out for piano and a trip to Fred Meyer was helpful? or maybe it was the vacuuming and dust removing and a little time cooking and baking in the kitchen? Whatever it was, I feel better about schedules and making the most of our days. We accomplished what school needed to be accomplished this morning. Side note: Dad, did you find any good tickets, we would love a visit! I didn't have to grocery shop today so maybe that was a source of goodness for my day! Oh, my the Christmas decorations are (more)
