May. 25, 2008 - Too Little Space
So, as this year is winding down, I find my myself already on next year. Curriculm has been decided and I have the summer mapped out, however I am having trouble with my space. Our house is not big and there is not a lot of room. I am trying to get a space set up for my girls that would be soley "school". I am at a loss. I am going to try to rearrange the living room some and see what happens. There is a spot between the garage door and the couch where the lighting is great but I am afraid that the area would be too out in the open. There is no one around but me and the girls during school time but I do not want all the stuff to be stuck out for everyone to trip on. I will keep updating on how my mission is coming along.

May. 20, 2008 - Random thoughts . . .
So, here it is- almost the end of another year and I am already thinking about next year. This year was a bit of a mess. Hubby had some in's and out's at work. I lost my part time job and with that came a loss of income. We have been squeezing by on one income for two months now. It is very tight but we are making it. With our money situation all over the place I am wondering what I am going to do next year for curriculum. We have been doing workbooks but that doe snot seem to be working so well for the kiddos. I am thinking of going for a unit study approach. I have looked at all different kinds of methods and I have not been able tosettle on one thing. (Sigh!) The hunt continues . . .

Feb. 13, 2008 - A little about myself
Hi. My name is J and I thought some introductions were in oder. I am married to a wonderful man, T. He is a great husband and father and a very Godly man. He is wonderful with the kids, although he is not around much. He is a firefighter and so when duty calls he goes. I have two beautiful, heaven sent angels- M who is 7 1/2 and A who is a little over 5. They are both being homeschooled in the first grade. My oldest, M, has a very special needs and A is super smart. We tried public school for the oldest but that did not turn out so well and the little one has never been to a public school. I really enjoy homeschooling. I have learned so much about them as people as well as things I never knew about the subjects we are learnign about.
So, that is the brief run down. I will be on her lots and cannot wait to get to know everyone that I can so we can share ideas. Have a blessed day!!!!
