Funny Thing

Funny thing...Life.

I did not reach my weight loss goal for the end of June.  I have a lot of good reasons.

1.  Umbilical hernia

2.  Gall bladder

3.  I love food!

4.  Vacation

Is any one hearing me on this?

So, here comes another summer of weight-loss wishing.

I think I will live, though.

Hopefully I will do better this time.  I think I need to pray more.

Our Evaluations are on Thursday.  If you are reading this, please pray for us.  We want it to go smoothly.  This year was the first time I tried homeschooling all six.  And that is a feat!

Well, I will be going for now.  God Bless!

Hello there,
Oursnapshotlife.blogspot.com here again. ;-)
That certainly is a huge accomplishment to have homeschooled all six this year! I will be praying for your evals.

Also, I hear you on the weight loss issue. I have gone up and down, sadly I am in the up stage, way up. :( It is a constant battle, and I am considering the paleo way of eating. Basically cuts out all that I am addicted to: sugar, wheat, grains, caffeine. We shall see....I need to pray constantly on this.

I'm hearing you on this...

Hello,
Thank you for the comment you left on my blog.

I just wanted to let you know that I'm with you, sister, and praying for you.

My new little one is just four weeks old, but now I'm sitting here with 35 pounds to lose. Whew. It's quite the journey, every time I get determined to lose the baby weight. It is spiritual for me--a matter of self control.

Homeschooling all 6? Wow. My fifth was just born. I'm praying about guiding the oldest into college classes (he's 15 and starting CollegePlus soon), and figuring out how to teach 5th/6th grade to my daughter, Kindergarten to my middle child, how to contain, train, and entertain the 17-month old, plus nurse the newborn 12 hours a day.

One thing I do know, GOD ALWAYS ANSWERS and ALWAYS provides. He will help me lose the weight, and He will most definitely guide me as I try to set up for the new school year and get it all done.

I will most definitely be praying for you.

Description
The Heritage of Home is Christ in us the hope of glory! When we are adopted into HIS family we receive a heritage passed down of the Heavenly Father. The Heritage of Home is knowing your place and standing there, confident in the knowledge that you are doing and being what you are called to be. I am a living testimony of thes fact. I do waver sometimes, when I get sidetracked by the world and even some people who are just trying to help, and sometimes I sidetrack myself! So, being renewed by the transforming of the Holy Bible, Christ's Word, I receive my inheritance daily, hourly, minute by minute. Not sidetracked but focused. (when I STAY in HIS Word!) Heritage of Home is learning and teaching how to live and love and be loved.
