7:35 p.m. ADT Good Evening, Let's seen, a recap for the day. The boys (Bob and Tanis) are out at the Italio Cabin commercial fishing. The river opened this morning at 6 a.m. for it's 36 hours. Eden, Emma (our Weimeraner) and I opened the Fly shop at 1:00 p.m. after a morning of church festivities. We headed up to Church at 9:10 a.m. for worship practice, I wasn't sure since I was out last week with Eden and her tummy wog, who would be covering this week. I arrived and it was Les with his guitar and no one else. He said that the musicians would be there around 9:15a-9:20a and asked if I had some songs lined up.. um, nope. He had 3 from the Hymnal and we pieced together the rest from the overhead files. Hae Sook and her girls showed to play the piano, violin, drums, and sax. And Dave come to play the base and Les with his guitar so we had a band :) I was piecing the songs together for combinations on the overhead during the start of the Adult Bible study hour when someone came in for me to cover the 7-9 year olds since we had some visitors from Anchorage in. So we had some fun without materials avaiable and talk and got to know each other that left about 20 minutes left in our hour so we played Bible Hangman. What fun we had. Service went smoothly, boy we had a packed house. There wasn't a seat remaining, we even had to bring in more chairs and still others were standing. The worship time was so awesome, with all those people you could hardly be shy over singing, they were so loud :) We finished our 6th and last song with a slower tempo song and wow you could feel the presence of the Holy Spirit in the room. As we repeated the last verse to close I couldn't help but speak between the lines praising Jesus and calling the body to petition to our Mighty Lord. It was powerful. We raced from service to the store for some food to take with us to the Shop. Made a quick stop to the house to collect things there. The afternoon as I said was pretty slow, but good. Hans dropped in with the store keys that had gone out with Bob in his coat pocket.. oops. He brought in a load at 7 p.m. :) Yeah, some fish are starting to come in. I'll not proof ready, Eden's NEEDING to head for home. Time to close out. Blessings Abound, Teen Leave a Comment { Last Page } { Page 20 of 376 } { Next Page } |
