I have posted this quote before but am posting it again, as it states so clearly something I have needed to be reminded of daily the past few weeks.
"Our homeschools should not look alike. God's plan for each family will dictate what the school looks like. We should be certain and settled about what we are doing, using the Bible as our guide. Our lifestyle should reflect God's will for our own particular family.
It is difficult to forget about what others are doing, and yet it is important that we do not conform to what we see around us. We must seek renewal from God so that we can see what His will is for us. It helps me to know why we are homeschooling and what our goals are when we are finished. It is okay if my school looks different from yours. God doesn't want us all to be the same. Seek His will and make that the conrnerstone of your curriculum."
