About Me

I began this blog to create an on going yearbook of our homeschool chronicling our highs & lows with photo's and journaling. Through the past few years I have really enjoyed getting to know so many homeschool moms and their families. Being a Homeschoolblogger has been both fun and encouraging. Please make yourself comfortable and enjoy getting to know us and how we learn at home!

2 Little Words

It's only Day 4 of our" Official Summer Break" and this morning I heard those words .... those dreaded words.... those 2 little words that will drive any mommy to her breaking point....

     I'M BORED!

*sigh*

Oh,  how I'd LOVE to be bored!  Can you imagine having NOTHING to do?  Well,  rest assured, they were not bored for long .... good thing I have some summer projects lined up!  This was all the inspiration I needed to start stripping the wallpaper in our kitchen, along with my 2 "bored" little helpers.

LOL! I used to get that here too... want a sure cure? Anytime my children say they're bored, I cheerfully give them a chore to do. :) I have seen them catching themselves just before the words left their mouths and turn on their heels in search of something to do. :)
Thanks for stopping by my blog!
Love, Alyssa
