I began this blog to create an on going yearbook of our homeschool chronicling our highs & lows with photo's and journaling. Through the past few years I have really enjoyed getting to know so many homeschool moms and their families. Being a Homeschoolblogger has been both fun and encouraging. Please make yourself comfortable and enjoy getting to know us and how we learn at home!
Jesse is "officially" bored with summer.... already!??
He told me he would like to start his Language Arts/grammar curriculum for grade 4 as soon as it arrives at our home!
We just celebrated his 9th birthday on Tuesday! We were able to spend some time at the park and he got an "Eyeclops" for his gift. Cool present but it only keeps him occupied for so long...
I'm thinking hard about some type of summer project for him - how do you keep your 9 year busy doing something worthwhile?
Have you heard of Summer Bridge Activities? It's a great summer workbook with (parent designed) incentives. We used them hmmmm not last year but the year before and it was great. The daily activities are not very long but just long enough (wink!) Just a thought! Warmly, EMichelle
