It has been so rainy and windy today. We had a wonderful homeschooling day and went on a field trip to our local Whole Foods market this morning to take part of a nutrition workshop. Sitting in the cafe of the store in front of the big beautiful windows it was quite a sight to see the rain come down and the wind pick up. Leaves were swirling around us. We came home and even though the weather was a wet and windy mess it was nice to curl up on the couch, put on a pot of chicken soup and enjoy the rest of the day being housebound. Remembering the Winnie The Pooh books, the boys and I began to read our old favorite again, just for fun. While my oldest son worked in his Algebra Lifepac he listened in also and commented that he remembered this book.  "This is nice mom" and now we feel like we are six again.
