Hi everyone, I have been very happy with our unschoolerish experiment that we have been living and loving for our homeschool for the past 4 weeks and although I haven't committed myself one hundred percent to the idea, I am almost there.

I've been keeping a log per week and will be reviewing our progress and posting my unschooling journal permanently on my homepage located at www.homeschoolinghaven.info

My biggest challenge to the whole idea of unschooling has been the battle between mom and the television. I have truly been praying for this situation and believe that I have received an answer to my dilemma. Today I am going to take our old cable box and rather than drop kick it I am exchanging it for one that records with a DVR. I have already been to the Cable in the Classroom website and have printed out the programming schedules for January.

It's time I made my old enemy the television work for me rather than against me.

I think I am finally starting to figure this out :)
